CASSIE REID, PH.D.
Owner, LPC-Supervisor, EMDR Trained
Dr. Reid is the heart and soul behind Southlake Counseling and Wellness, which she founded with one simple goal: to help clients turn life’s toughest challenges into opportunities for growth. With a rich background that spans school counseling, special education, sales, and working with top institutions like UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dr. Reid has seen it all—and knows exactly how to help people thrive. She’s even contributed to groundbreaking pain management research and worked with grief organizations, making her approach as diverse as it is effective.
In her most recent adventure, Dr. Reid served as the creator and chair of the Master of Marriage & Family Therapy program at The King's University, where she thrived in shaping the next generation of counselors. When she’s not working with clients or teaching, you might find her on the Pickleball court, traveling, decorating something, or hanging with her family. Oh, and did we mention? Dr. Reid is also the author of Unwrapped: Open The Gift of Holiday Sanity—because who couldn’t use a little more peace during the holidays?
Her approach? Warm, relatable, and full of expertise, all wrapped up in a plan tailored just for you.
